Jefferson Apartments Fire Donation Drive

Along with the Squirrel Hill Urban Coalition, Kids Plus Pediatrics, will be accepting donations at our Squirrel Hill/Greenfield office (4070 Beechwood Blvd., Pittsburgh PA 15217) to help those affected by the Jefferson Apartments fire.

Donations will be taken directly to the Jefferson Apartment displaced community members or taken to the Red Cross (Southwestern PA Chapter) to be distributed.

 

WHAT WE ARE ACCEPTING:

  • Gift cards (Target, Walmart, Giant Eagle, Visa, Reloadable Gift cards, etc…)
  • Men’s and Women’s Clothing (new or gently used)
    • We are especially seeking Men’s 3XL and Women’s L
    • Priority items include winter clothes, coats, snow / rain boots
  • Clothing and items for a 9-10 year old child
  • Shoes
  • Hygiene items
  • Toiletries
  • New, packaged undergarments (socks & underwear)
  • Tote bags or backpacks

We cannot accept food or cash donations – only gift cards and the above listed items. 

 

WHERE TO DONATE:

We are accepting donations at the Kids Plus Pediatrics Squirrel Hill / Greenfield office from
Monday, September 15 – Friday, September 26 during the following hours:

  • Mondays & Wednesdays: 9am – 4pm
  • Tuesdays & Thursdays: 9am – 6pm
  • Fridays: 9am – 3 pm
