I really liked the Cat in the Hat when I was younger. As a toddler, I would wag my finger at the part when the fish says "no, no, no".

My favorite childhood toy was a snow leopard stuffed animal from Build-a-Bear

My greatest inspiration is my former pediatric preceptor, Dr. Kaylee Keiper. She taught me that patient education and connection with families are some of the most important parts of the visit, and I strive to emphasize those beliefs with every patient.

Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, skiing, painting, traveling, reading, and spending time with friends and family.

I grew up as the oldest sibling and the oldest cousin on my mom's side of the family, so I have always enjoyed being around kids. I realized that I wanted to work with kids during my pediatrics rotation. In PA school I remember telling my now husband "I don't think I'm going to be able to do anything else after this." I was right and I can't imagine myself in any other specialty!

I enjoy seeing behavioral health visits (anxiety, depression, ADHD) and contraception visits.
I love having the opportunity to work closely with our breastfeeding team to give breastfeeding advice to parents, which makes being a provider at Kids Plus so unique.

I see a variety of patients who have more complex needs. I really enjoy seeing behavioral health visits such as anxiety, depression, and ADHD.
