The players of the U.S. Women's National Soccer team in 2019 that fought for equal pay and established a precedent for future women soccer players. They chose to stand together and advocate for better financial opportunities for the next generation of women's players while maintaining excellence on the field.

I have always loved interacting with the kids in my family, especially my younger sisters and cousins, and how happy I was to be a part of their lives. Over time, I realized how much I genuinely enjoy children's humor, energy, and their view of the world. It has made me more passionate to provide the best possible care to help keep them healthy and thriving as they continue to grow and develop.

I practice in a way to make children of all ages feel safe, heard, and understood. Having grow up surrounded by younger children in my family has helped me develop patience, empathy, and the ability to communicate with kids at their level. I approach my patients with warmth, humor, age-appropriate language, and the occasional animal toy to ease anxiety and create trust. I prioritize active listening to then validate any concerns and develop an individualized plan best for the patient and their family. My goal is to always create a welcoming environment where both children and their families feel comfortable, respected, and cared for.
