What is your favorite animated movie or cartoon?

What is your favorite children's book?
My favorite childhood book is "A Mango Shaped Space" because it is a sweet coming of age story that revolves around a girl and her close-knit family.
What was your favorite childhood toy?
My favorite childhood toys were Littlest Pet Shop and American Girl Dolls!
Who is your greatest inspiration?
My greatest inspirations are my parents because they embody compassion in every aspect of their lives.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
Outside of work I love to read, travel, run, and spend time with friends and family.
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
I grew up in a large and loud Italian family with many cousins, both older and younger than me. I learned so much from my older cousins and was always happy to lead the younger cousins too. My love of my family and a passion for medicine lead me to pursing a career in pediatrics.
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
As someone who loves to know the "why," as a healthcare provider I try to take the additional time in explaining the "why" behind disease processes and medications to patients and their families.
