What is your favorite children's book?
I am a Bunny by Richard Scarry because it was my oldest son's favorite book and we spent hours petting the bunny, picking the strawberries and chasing the butterflies.
What was your favorite childhood toy?
LEGOs
Who is your greatest inspiration?
I have met so many wonderful people in my personal and professional lives and I try to learn from all of them. It's hard to pick just one!
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
Spending time with my sons
Traveling
Reading
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
I choose pediatrics because I love working with kids. You never know what they may say next! I also enjoy teaching about health and how we can help our children learn to be healthy adults.
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
I have significant experience and interest in adoptive families and neurodiversity. My personal experience in these areas allow me to connect with patients and their families as a physician who truly understands their challenges and journeys.

I have significant personal and professional experience with neurodiversity.
I am also Trauma Informed trained.
