Q&A with Hannah
What is your favorite animated movie or cartoon?
The Polar Express — I saw it in theaters with my dad when I was three, and it’s been one of my favorites ever since!
What is your favorite children's book?
I’ve always loved Love You Forever by Robert Munsch. My mom used to read it to me when I was little, and it quickly became one of our favorites. Now that I’m older, I see it in a whole new light — its message about unconditional love and the passage of time feels even more powerful. It’s one of those rare stories that grows with you.
What was your favorite childhood toy?
Definitely my baby dolls. I’ve always loved taking care of little ones, even in make-believe!
Who is your greatest inspiration?
My greatest inspiration is my family. They have always encouraged me to follow my dreams and to "shoot for the moon — even if you miss, you'll land among the stars."
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
I enjoy spending time outdoors during the warmer months, especially running, hiking, and biking. When the weather turns colder, I like to stay active at the gym and spend my downtime baking and reading.
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
Throughout my life, I have always loved working with children and have been continually inspired by their intelligence, curiosity, and resilience. Working with children keeps me grounded and reminds me of how precious life truly is.
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
I’m persistent in advocating for my patients and making sure their needs are addressed, and I communicate openly and consistently along the way. By being transparent, responsive, and reliable, I strive to build trust with my patients and their families.
