What is your favorite animated movie or cartoon?
My favorite cartoon is Tom & Jerry.
What is your favorite children's book?
Anything Winnie the Pooh, just because those books were the first ones I have ever read and it was always with my parents with me.
What was your favorite childhood toy?
My favorite childhood toys were Hot Wheels cars.
Who is your greatest inspiration?
Not one single inspiration, but my family. They made me the person I am today and have taught me to persevere through the tough times and work hard even during the good.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
Walking the dog, watching hockey and baseball, and anything related to Myrtle Beach.
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
My medical assistant job before PA school was in pediatrics and the work environment, co-workers, and kiddos as patients made me feel like this is where I belong to work.
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
Medicine, to me, if part medicine, part personal. I like to get to know patients and families because we are a team, and I want to help kids with their health but also feel comfortable coming to the doctor's office.
