Telehealth is a virtual medical service offered to all Kids Plus Pediatrics patients, allowing you to experience professional visits from the comfort of home or wherever you are, usually for the same or lower cost than an in-office visit depending on your insurance plan. Telehealth is one of many ways that Kids Plus Pediatrics is empowering families through technology, making healthcare more personalized and efficient.

Kids Plus Pediatrics currently offers telehealth options for sick visits, mental health visits, and re-checks every weekday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on select evenings. You can schedule an appointment by calling (412) 466-5004.

What to expect during your visit

Well visits vs. sick visits

Because of the nature of well visits, which require close physical examination and often include vaccinations, we don’t offer well visits virtually. However, we can use telehealth for many routine health problems, such as sore throat, nasal congestion, cough, flu-like symptoms, diarrhea, constipation, vomiting, bug bites and stings, rashes, hives, sunburn, allergies, pink eye, ear pain, and other minor illnesses and injuries.
